From when I was a boy on my mother’s knee, I learned the power of stories, about how they bring us joy and melancholy, empathy and inspiration, understanding and purpose.
And so I decided to tell stories for a living. I write, I do stand-up, I do podcasts
And, most relevant to you, I create videos. Good ones
Over the course of my career of over 25 years, I have used video to tell stories — not just my own, but those of companies, brands, people and places. In this time, I have come to learn the craft of audio-visual storytelling in first the broadcast and then the digital domain. I have created and directed television shows, marketing and branded content, educational content, produced television commercials, award-winning online commercials and video content for socially relevant campaigns
I used to head the video divisions of marketing agencies like Ideate Labs and Adfactors PR.
Today, I am a content specialist with a 360˚ understanding of the content creation milieu. From proposal to concept to execution to dissemination, I have a thorough understanding of the branded video content landscape and have taken up ownership of entire projects, campaigns and strategies
